I Live

Plain Sight presents its second exhibition, I Live, featuring work by Nara Park, whose work investigates our relationship to the landscape we inhabit and the imprint we leave in it when we are gone. Park uses synthetic materials, such as Styrofoam or plastic, to create three-dimensional works that reference stone, inspired by sacred places ranging from memorials to natural rock formations. I Live is accompanied by an audio recording of the artist reading her poem Promises. Works will be on display 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the duration of the exhibition. This exhibition is presented in partnership with the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. Plain Sight co-founders, Allison Nance and Teddy Rodger, will be joined by Ji Young Yun from the Korean Cultural Center for an artist talk with Park on April 28th.
